Chance Of Rain

Urban Arts & Music Festival | Sep 28 - Oct 02 | Seattle, WA

Aside from entrance to all the shows, are there other benefits to passholders for buying a pass versus buying individual tickets?

The benefit of buying a pass is that you get to check out any or all of the shows, and it ensures you'll get in. When buying tickets for each show, it can become costly, depending on how many shows you're interested in checking out.  There's also the “discovery factor” with the pass, as you can check out acts you're not familiar with which can lead to new music for your ears and soul:)  Passholders will also get invited to a special “passholder only” event.

What’s included in the Chance of Rain festival pass?

Chance of Rain festival pass includes access to 11 showcases over 5 days.  These additional shows are the exception: the Hynautilis Boat Party and The Divine Movement (yoga) are NOT included in the festival pass due to limited capacity.  Friday’s event, You Better, is discounted for passholders.  More information can be found on our ticketing page:

Please be mindful that as a passholder you have to access to showcases and afters hours; however, occasionally, venues will be at capacity. This is especially true for lower capacity venues like The Crocodile and Re-Bar. Arrive early for showcases with the potential to sell in order to ensure you enjoy the showcase! We will do our best to alert attendees through social media when venues do hit capacity.

Will there be any all-ages shows through the festival?

Yes! Our Gallery show on Saturday night from 7-11pm is all ages and FREE!

Unfortunately, the rest of our shows will be held at venues that are 21+ for this year. However, we do intend to implement more all-ages shows next year! Thanks for asking.

Pass Prices

For festival passes, ticket prices go up to $150 starting Wednesday.  You can still buy online through Friday at 5pm.  You can alternatively buy a pass at the Festival Box Office until the box office closes at 11pm on Friday.  The Festival Box Office will accept cash or credit cards.

I bought a pass.  What do I do next?

ALL passholders need to get a festival wristband from the festival box office in order to gain entry to festival shows. Chance of Rain’s festival box office is located at Re-bar at 1114 Howell Street in downtown Seattle. In addition to serving as festival box office, Re-bar will host DJs and beautiful art by Mollie Bryan. The bar will be open, hang out with us for a while when you come to the box office!

Festival box office hours are:

Thursday, September 29th - 2PM to 11PM

Friday, September 30th - 2 PM to 11 PM

Construction projects are taking over Re-bar’s neighborhood. During high traffic time, we encourage you to use public transit or walk to mitigate any parking frustrations.

Please arrive at the festival box office with your e-mail ticket confirmation and a current form of ID. All passes need to be redeemed in person by the person who purchased them, it is your responsibility to claim your pass. Wristbands must be fastened on the attendee at Re-bar, meaning that if you purchased a wristband for another person, they must also be present at Re-bar to receive their wristband; there are no exceptions.

ARTISTS: If you arrive Saturday or Sunday, please e-mail to arrange pass pick up.

How do I get into the FWD Showcase/Jacques Greene at Q on Wednesday if I can’t pick up my pass until Thursday?

A Passholder Will Call list will be at Q on Wednesday night! If you have purchased a Festival Pass by 5pm on Wednesday, your name will be on the Passholders list at the door. You can pick up your actual wristband and Festival credentials on Thursday or Friday at Re-bar from 2-8pm.

I can only go to a couple of shows.  Can I buy individual tickets to shows?
